Transitions
Transitions add a visual effect to the beginning or end of a clip, shape, text, or image on the timeline.
Add a transition
Click the Audio Effects tab or the View Effects tab. A preview of the effect appears when you hover your cursor over the image on the video effect within the pane. See About the Video Effects view.
Drag a transition from the pane onto the beginning or end of a clip, shape, text, or image on the timeline. When you drag the effect onto the timeline, Camtasia adds a yellow border around the locations available for applying the effect.
