SmartFocus automatically zooms in on areas in a Camtasia recording file based on the activity within the recording. When recording, Camtasia collects data about the actions completed and the cursor movement in the recording. SmartFocus predicts where to add zoom effects, saving you the time it takes to manually find and insert actions.

SmartFocus cannot be applied to region recordings and file formats other than Camtasia recording files (.cmrec).

Apply SmartFocus:

Click the Video Effects tab .

Drag the SmartFocus or the SmartFocus at Time effect from the Video Effects pane onto a Camtasia recording file (.cmrec) on the timeline.

SmartFocus autiomatically generates zoom actions based on the activity within the recording file.
