About the Media Bin

The Media Bin stores all Camtasia recordings, video clips, audio clips, and images imported into a project.

To add media to the Media Bin, click the New Recording or Import Media buttons.
To include the media in a video, drag a recording, video clip, audio clip, or an image from the Media Bin onto the timeline. Clips in the Media Bin are not affected by any editing completed on the timeline.
Control-click on a clip or image in the Media Bin to select additional options such as add to timeline at playhead, rename, reveal in Finder or delete media from the Media Bin.
