Edit text

Add text to a video as a title, credits, callouts and more. Apply effects to animate the text.

Add text to video:

Click the Media & Library tab. Click Library.

Drag a text object from the Library pane onto the timeline or canvas. Add the text onto any track above an object or clip on the timeline for the text to appear in on top.

Double-click within the text box on the canvas. Enter the desired text.

Double-click to edit text

Edit font, color, and typeface:

Select Text > Show Fonts to edit the text font, color, size, and style.

Position text within the video:

To position the text, drag the text box on the canvas.
To rotate the text, drag the rotation control on the canvas around the anchor point.
To animate the text, drag an effect from the Video Effects pane onto the text on the timeline or canvas.
