Actions
Actions apply to clips, shapes, text or images over an interval of time.
Add an action:
Click the Audio Effects tab or the View Effects tab. A preview of the effect appears when you hover your cursor over the image on the video effect within the pane.
Drag an action from the pane onto the timeline. When you drag the effect onto the timeline, Camtasia adds a yellow border around the locations available for applying the effect.
Edit an action:
Click to select an action on the timeline. The action’s color changes to yellow.
Drag an end point to adjust the speed of the transition into the action.

Position the end point to the location on the timeline where you want the final action to begin. For example, position the end point where you want the video to fully zoom in to. The action applies from this point until the beginning of the next action or the end of the clip.
To set an end point for the action, drag the Restore action from the Video Effects pane onto the desired location on the timeline.
Click the Properties button
to adjust the action's properties.
Remove an action:
Click to select an action on the timeline.
Press the Delete key or select Edit > Delete.
