Add a callout
Add shapes and text on top of a video to draw viewers’ attention to important action on the screen, to introduce a video or chapter, or to display the end credits.
Add a shape to a video:
Click the Media & Library tab. Click Library.

Drag a shape from the Library pane onto the timeline or canvas.
Click to select the shape on the canvas or timeline.
To change the size of the shape, drag a handle on the canvas.
To position the shape, drag the shape on the canvas.
To rotate the shape, drag the rotation control on the canvas around the anchor point.
You can animate or change the appearance of the shape by dragging effects from the Video Effects pane onto the shape such as Fade In/Out transition, Colorize filter, Color Adjustment filter, or the Drop Shadow filter. See Change the color of a shape and Add an effect.
Add text to a video:
Click the Media & Library tab. Click Library.

Drag a text object from the Library pane onto the timeline or canvas. Add the text onto any track above the shape on the timeline for the text to appear in front of the shape.

Double-click within the text box on the canvas, and enter the desired text.
Select Text > Show Fonts to edit the text font and style.
To position the text, drag the text box on the canvas.
To rotate the text, drag the rotation control on the canvas around the anchor point.
To animate the text, drag an effect from the Video Effects pane onto the text on the timeline or canvas.
