Show a region of the video
Crop mode allows you to select a portion of the full screen recording or video clip to show in the final video. Use crop mode to hide unwanted portions of the video and only display the region of focus such as an application or website.
Show a portion of the recording or clip:
Select a clip on the timeline and click the Crop Mode button.
The clip's border on the canvas changes to blue. Drag a handle to crop the clip.
Click the Crop Mode button to exit the mode. The clip's border changes to white.
To remove the black space in the video, drag the handles to resize the clip to fit the entire video space. Or Control-click on the canvas and select Scale to Foreground Window.
