Change the duration for media on the timeline
You can change the duration for images, shapes, text, transitions, and actions on the timeline. The default duration for images, shapes, and text is 5 seconds. The default duration for transitions and actions is 1 second.
To change the duration of media on the timeline:
For actions, click to select the action on the timeline. Drag the endpoint out to decrease the duration of the transition to the action. Drag the endpoint in to increase the duration of the transition to the action.
For images, shapes, text, and transitions, click to select the media on the timeline. Drag the endpoint out to extend the duration the media appears in the video. Drag the endpoint in to decrease the duration the media appears in the video.
