Edit text

Add text to a video as a title, credits, callouts, etc. Apply effects to animate the text.

Add text to video:

Click the Media & Library tab. Click Library.

Drag a text object from the Library pane onto the timeline or canvas.

Drag a text object from the Library onto the canvas

Double-click within the text box on the canvas. Enter the desired text.

Double-click to edit text

Edit font, color, and typeface:

Select Text > Show Fonts to edit the text font, color, and size.

Position text within the video:

To position the text box, click and drag the text box to the desired location on the canvas.

To rotate the text, drag the rotation control on the canvas around the anchor point.
