Change the default duration
You can change the default duration for images, shapes, text, transitions, and actions. The default duration for images, shapes, and text is 5 seconds. The default duration for transitions and actions is 1 second.
To change the default duration:
Select Camtasia > Preferences > Timeline tab.
Enter a time in seconds into the duration field.
