About the Audio Effects view
Each view displays the effects available for application or editing. Click the Audio Effects tab 
to access the view. Drag audio effects from the pane onto microphone recordings, system audio recordings, or imported audio clips.
When you change the view, the audio effects shrink on the timeline.
