  1. Drop Zone & Information Area

    This ares is where you can drop files, folders & applications. It also displays information about the current item. Double click the zone to open the current item.
  2. Owner Field

    This combo box allows the owner of the file to be changed. Either type in the name or select from the list.
  3. Owner Settings

    Use this menu to quickly select the owner's permissions
  4. Group Field

    This combo box allows the group to be changed. Either type in the name or select from the list.
  5. Group Settings

    Use this menu to quickly select the owner's permissions
  6. Everyone Settings

    Use this menu to quickly select the everyone else's permissions
  7. Reset Button

    Resets the permissions of the current item back to the default.
  8. Locked Field

    Specifies in the file's is locked or not.
  9. Apply To Contents

    If you are setting the permissions of a folder, this will also set the permissions to any files, folder or applications within that folder.
  10. Only Owner Can Delete

    When set only the owner can delete this current item.
  11. Remove Leopard's ACL

    With Apple's Leopard system, they added a new way to set permissions to files, on top of the existing system. As you can imagine this causes a lot of people grief, when this option is enabled any changes to the current item will remove these Leopard ACL settings.
  12. Set

    Set the Owner, Group, Locked, Only Owner Can Delete settings to the current item.
