Select the brush tool or the pencil tool in the Tool panel.
Physical properties can be selected in the Physics panel.
Click the mouse on the screen and drag to draw the object starting at that point. The simulation pauses while you are drawing the object. The simulation resumes when you release the mouse. The added object instantly obeys the laws of physics.
When you want to create a complex mechanism, first select the Pause check box to pause the simulation.
The objects no longer move after you release the mouse. This helps you draw complex scenes. Once you are done drawing the scene, clear the Pause check box to restart the simulation.
You can drag a TIFF, PNG, JPEG or other graphics file to the OE-CAKE! screen to include the image in file as an object in the scene. The object added to the scene will have the object property selected in the control panel.
If you drag a TIFF, PNG, or other image that supports alpha channel (transparency), the portions that have an alpha value of less than 50% are not included in the object.
This allows you to set the alpha value of the unused portions of an image to 0 and make an object out of only the parts you want.
You can change paint mode into grab mode by clicking the gGrabh button in the control panel. You can then drag the object to move it, or throw the object by releasing the mouse while it is in motion.
If your mouse has multiple buttons, you can grab an object by clicking it with the right mouse button, whether or not the gGrabh button is selected.
Choose your desired property, position your mouse cursor over the object, then click with the Command key held down. (Mac Only)
