Keying> View group
The View group designates what View mode you see in the Comp Window, and lets you split the view to see your keyed footage in various states simultaneously.

View pop-up
While using Primatte Keyer you will need to switch back and forth between different views to accurately build your matte, and this menu is where you make your view choice. When in the Split Screen mode, this menu is where you select what is seen on the left side of the screen.

There are seven View options.
- Comp: Tells Primatte to display the current composite. This is the keyed foreground element over the background element (consisting of one or more layers in the After Effects composite).
- Matte: Tells Primatte to display the matte as it is currently being generated.
- Foreground: Displays the unkeyed, original foreground element. This mode is useful for verifying areas of the unkeyed foreground that are to be transparent, or to identify an area for spill removal later on in the keying process.
- Background: Shows the original, unadjusted background image, if one is present. If none has been added to the composite, choosing this option will display the background color.
- Processed Foreground: Shows the keyed foreground subject with spill suppression applied to it. This acts the same as the RGB Straight mode in After Effects, in which you see the actual RGB values without the blending,
- Adjust Light Foreground: Gives you more control as you create your key. One is to view the auto backing screen, mainly for debugging. Adjust Light view mode shows what the Adjust light mode looks when its on. You can see what Adjust Light is really doing, esp if you split screen and show the Foreground vs Adjust Light Foreground.
- Hybrid Matte: Shows a secondary inner matte that has been shrunk and blurred. This displays the 'Body' matte that has been generated with the three Hybrid controls in the Keying> Refinement> Advanced group. This is just a view of the Hybrid matte: it is not something that gets rendered out.
Split Screen checkbox
Splits the Comp Window into two different views of the image. The Split Screen checkbox toggles the split screen effect, and it is turned off by default. When it is enabled, the split screen is visible.

Above, Split Screen shows Matte View at left and Foreground View at right.
Right pop-up
When Split Screen is enabled, this pop-up chooses the View display for the right side of the Comp Window. The menu options are identical to the View pop-up. If Split Screen checkbox is turned off, the Right menu is grayed out and has no function.
Amount
Sets the location of the Split Screen between left and right sides. The default value is 50%, which sets the split at the middle of the Comp Window. Lower values move the split to the left, and higher values move it to the right.
